Race 50

Join me as I take on a journey to run marathons or longer distances in all 50 states in under 50 months – aiming to inspire my sons and spotlight mental health awareness along the way.

As an average runner who fell in love with distance running a little under 20 years ago, I wanted to show my sons firsthand that success can happen when you combine ambitious goal-setting, perseverance, and hard work. I hope leading by example will motivate them to dream big despite challenges.

I also run to support Project Semicolon‘s mental health initiatives after seeing too many patients struggle with suicidal thoughts over my years as a physician. Their message of hope and community resonates deeply at a time when positivity feels needed.

Anyone can achieve the extraordinary with drive and passion. My goal reminds me, and my children, that inner tenacity beats innate talent.
